Setting foot in Australia, you’ll realise that penguins don’t necessarily live on snow or in Antarctica. In fact, they have a home in southern Australia, Phillip Island. Every evening, penguins gather after a long day of collecting food before heading home together to feed their chicks – a rare sight attracts many tourist every year.
In order to protect the penguins, the Australian government limited the number of people visiting per year and there are strict rules to follow while visiting these penguins as well: visitors are to remain silent and flash photography is not allowed. This is to allow the penguins to go about their daily activities undisturbed.
